From what I've heard the Peak district has peaks but the Lake district has lakes AND peaks. Does that mean don't bother with the Peak district?

Lake District = loads and loads and loads of tourists.
Peak District = lots of nice motorbikes and less busy for walking."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JR -

If you don't like lakes but like peaks, then don't bother with the Lake District.
If you like lakes but don't like peaks, then don't bother with the Peak District.
If you like both, then don't bother with the Peak District.
If you like neither, then don't bother with either.

3 peaks in the peak district is good for cycling, but only once a year.
Windermere in the lake district is nice, and if you pick the right hill to climb one evening you should be able to see the Blackpool illuminations.Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
