    Support for small LAN

i've been approached to provide support for a glorified home network for a small company with a single server and a couple of switches. They did used to have some kind of support arrangements but the company is no longer trading. I haven't yet spoken to the customer so I have no further details at present.

The thing is that i'm not a techie so it's unlikely I could provide this myself. I'm tempted to sub-contract it to someone and add commission. Maybe install some remote access software to enable remote support?

Any advice or recomendations for companies in the south east?

Obviously not a techie... if the network goes down how are you going to support it remotely?

To be honest, if you don't know what you're doing, you're probably taking risks you don't know about... leave it to someone who does know what to do.

Give it to someone who can deliver it. You will get a lot of kudos and goodwill from that...

        Older and ...well, just older!!
