Question from newbie re Cisco contracting

    Greetings,

I'm hoping to start contracting in a few months time and am preparing to take the plunge from full time to contracting. I'm doing an intensive CCNA course and the exam is booked for Sept 30th, I've been doing IT/Network support for 6 years for various different people mostly being outsourced. I'm used to going into new places of work and hitting the ground running and have worked in a lot of different environments.

I'm wondering how to break into contract networking once I've got the exam, I have a fair amount of network experience but no extensive Cisco hands on experience so to speak.

What should I be looking for for that first contract? Any Cisco contractors able to give me any pointers on how to get started?
