Quiet on the contracting front in London ?

    Hi all
very quiet on the contracting front at the moment
( London / City / Docklands ). Lots of positions
constantly re-advertised or with ridiculous skill
requirements ( e.g. know everything about everything ).

Hows everyone else finding things ?

..well last year around summer time it was like big time, hey ring a ding, give me the dooleys man. But before Christmas it went bum f*cker don´t pay no dime, and now there ain´t no mother f*cker need no-one.

    ...well just my impression.

Agree with you Trendy - many conversations with Agents, CV in a few places, but few interviews as yet... maybe waiting for the tick over to april and the new financial year?

...or perhaps the housing crash, credit crunch and

        mass layoffs

Aye, was boom time last summer, now is like a ghost town. If someone is in a contract right and coming up for renewal now would recommed staying in it till things look up.
