    Mini laptop screen too small

A friend of mine has a (mini) laptop whose screen resolution is 800x600, and has found some dialog boxes are too large to be entirely visible, e.g. can't see the "OK" button at the bottom. (Windows XP)

Is there a standard way to move the dialog / screen image up/down to move the truncated parts into view?

    TIA

Oh, and remember that hitting Enter when a dialog is displayed will click the default button (usually "OK"), and hitting Esc will Cancel.

Alternatively it may be possible to set the desktop resolution higher than the screen can handle, so you get a scrollable region.

So whilst the dialogs and windows may still go out of view, you can scroll the viewable area to access any offscreen buttons.

IIRC, ALT+M (Move) then the cursor keys will move the dialog.
            Esc when you're done.
