Talking about luvvies, Richard E Grant was in front of me in the Bath branch of Barclays today.
I wasn't tempted to do the usual "Excuse me, but are you .." routine, because celebs must get so fed up with twerps collaring them like that.
But also, I couldn't think of any of his films more recent than Withnail and I (although he has been in plenty), and to say "I thought you were great in Withnail and I" would be pathetic and almost an insult, like saying to Michael Caine "You were great in Zulu" when he's been in dozens of films since.
