    Temporary NINO(National Ins Number) in payslip...!!

    Guys,

    I had a look at latest salary slip from my Umbrella, looks like I have a Temp National Ins Number ..ie TN<DOB>M/F format..

    I heard in some forums sayimg Temp NINO is not in use from 2006..!! Any one here still uses Temp NINO in their salary slips..???

    BTW..I am not UK born came here couple of years back..Never bothered to visit Job Centere Plus for Perm NINO..

    So why not pay them a visit and get a permie NINO?

      yes thats the plan...

      But for the moment I have to submit payslips to Home office for Visa renewal...thats why asking about Temp NINO to ensure that My NI contrtibuition is visible to HO & HMRC..

        The contributions office knows who you are! They flag up all the money they receive without a NI number in a special account.

        They are waiting for you to get a NI number so they can allocate your contributions to you.

        Getting a NI number is really quick, so delaying is silly!
