    Rate Cut

Just had the dreaded phonecall from the agency, 10% rate cut - take it or leave it.

Suprised it has taken them so long to be honest and at least they have given a months notice. I guess lower paid work is better than no work at all.

I took a rate cut two months ago; take it or leave it. I should have left it. They'll chuck you out anyway if they're running out of money.

That's trannyphobic that is; you're not allowed to discriminate against shemales.

Do you know if the client has imposed it or is the agency making a fast buck?

The client has imposed it on all contractors. And for once I almost trust my current agent.

Is ClientCo a bank? Have you done due diligence and checked their credit rating? I have, and mine's a lot better than theirs. By that I should actually have demanded a 10% rise and payment up front, but I didn't have the guts to do that, and now I'm regretting it.
