I've added this (for specialist books) to my website . Does anyone get income from it?

A friend of mine makes about $100/month from Amazon, as well as around $400/month from Google AdSense, from his digital photography site.
Mind you, he's spent a number of years building up his site and earning his Google rank. He told me other Saturday that his girlfriend had complained about him spending the whole afternoon upstairs in his office, writing a couple of new articles and a product review (manufacturers now loan, or even give, him their new kit to review on his site).
He showed her the monthly statements from Google and Amazon, and asked her if she'd ever wondered why he'd never asked her to contribute to the utility bills since she moved in six months ago. She stopped complaining thenComment

Not normally as busy as the time I Slashdotted him though
I've got a copy of the server logs from that somewhere - IIRC, he got around 112,000 unique visitors in the 24 hours followingComment
