    Proposals for a "world" currency

    New world currency

    Will this "fly" ?

Or should everyone simply stick to their own currency.

In EVERY game I have ever played, without exception, when dealing on a planetary level, the currency is the galactic credit.

It seems obvious to me that we should get in first and corner the market.
forget the dollar , pound and the euro, join the GC.

I'd only approve if it was guaranteed to put the champagne-quaffing Porsche driving City trading wide-boy waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaankers(!) out on the streets and destitute.

      Ahem.

I think it's a great idea. It'll take 10-20 years to come about.

The Triganic Pu is the answer, once they sort out the problems with the size of a Ningis.

Nah. We/they will only find another betting shop to play in.

            BTW,
            Will this "fly"?
            No.

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

              I'd prefer the galactic groat.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

How about the Altarian Dollar, the Pu or the Flanian Pobble Bead?

                  I don't know. Apathetic planet - I don't know why I bother.

Is China a developing country? I thought it was fully developed......
