Some people think they are too important to turn up on time, whilst others are just rude.

Project managers who arrange project meetings at 4pm, insist on far too many people being present, so you end up with only about a quarter of the participants actually involved in any discussion at any one time, and the meeting lasts 4 hours.
I recall one such meeting where we were discussing a particular issue. I had one of my staff - back at HQ - working on it. I got a text message from him while in the meeting, that hinted at a resolution. I just stood up, said "excuse me", and walked out. An hour later I went back into the meeting, they were still discussing the same issue. "You can forget that", I said, "I've implemented a fix".
Didn't earn me any brownie points with the management, but it felt good.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

When you take in to account all the dodgy politicians, corrupt bankers etc. I think we'll need the Great Wall of China when the revolution comes.
PS I agree with shooting PMs who think Friday afternoon meetings may be useful or productive in some way (and then talk bollox for three hours)+50 Xeno Geek Points
