Question Time
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson -

Apart from being Fingered by the Telegraph she got savaged by the audience, especially when she stated that she wouldn't be paying back the money. She semi corrected that when cornered by saying if the independant audit finds her claims wrong she would think again.
Quite frankly she looked thoroughly uncomfortable throughout most of the programme and quite rightly so.
Menzies Campbell at least had the balls to admit he acted wrongly (although he tried the "it was a mistake" gamble but didn't keep his face totally straight) and has paid the cash back. He did at least do a respectable job rather than just coming over as a slime ball.
Sadly no-one pointed out that they have claimed for things that would see self employed people in jail for criminal tax evasion, bit of a lost opportunity.
Thanks for the heads up GJ, I would have missed it without your reminder.Comment

Watched QT for the first time ni a long time last night.
Thing I came away with was this feeling that they're not sorry, and incredibly even feel a little hard done by (Plus the whole bollocks about paying them more, but they'd never vote for it themselves).Hang on - there is actually a place called Cheddar?? - cailin maith
