    If the sky looks like this, I'd be scared

    I've watched too many Sci-Fi and horror films.

      All you need in that picture is loads of horned winged devils flapping down from the sky and the Xians will be rubbing their hands with glee at the Rapture.

      And Dan Brown will write another book...
      Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

          Saw loads of cloud forms like that on the way across France at New Year. Never really seen anything like it in the UK.

                  Definitely a Day After Tomorrow or War of the Worlds sort of cloud that.

                  Wieredst thing I've seen recently, about two years ago heading towards Derby, was a bright Rainbow that made a complete arc from one horizon to the other. If only I'd had a camera.

                    Last week while out driving I saw what's called roll cloud, looked like a horizontal tornado. Something like this;

                    Was very weird, came and went twice in 10 minutes.
