    Room for a Little One?

    Any room on the bench?

The client terminated my contract yesterday.

Signed a 6 month contract on 1st June, but the client has terminated it already.

Sorry to hear that mate, I hope the war chest is full enough to get you going until the next gig.

What type of contract was it?
          In London?
          What technology?
          Tester, BA, dev?
          Finance? NHS? ...?

Oh, loads. There's always room for one more.

            BTW, avoid the damp patch.

            Such is contracting.

Still, it beats finishing a contract on 1st December with nothing to go to. It's nicer on the bench in the sunshine than on the bench under a bare Xmas tree!

There's a coolbox at the end of the bench marked '1st Aid'. It's got the beers in. Help yourself.

Chin-up and enjoy a well earned break. Something alway's crops up eventually. Never nice when your contract is terminated before it's end date.

Hey you can maybe have the 30K permie .NET role i've got to say yes or no to on Mon.

Must say contract market is absolutely non-existent at the moment. Only bites i've had are permie and all around 30 grand. Glooooooooooom.
