    Just been in the pool

    Ah, wonderful.

It's 28 degrees outside, not a cloud in the sky. Just did a little fitness session and them relaxed in the pool. This is one aspect to life on the bench that I'll be missing.

However, new clientco is near a beach; shall be visiting in the evenings.

        Did it require Kleenex?

          NO!

Actually, I trained with a kettlebell. Did this workout, but with a 24kg kettlebell; his looks like a 16 kg kettlebell.

That's right. I used a clean spoon, as always.

That looks quite good, as there's a fair a amount of twisting involved. Much better than the straight up down stuff I used to do in weight training.

That's right, and the kettlebell is just brilliant for this kind of work; seeing as it's always out of balance you're forced to use the smaller muscles to stabilise it all the time. Also, your abdominal muscles work like hell. It's good for ballistic exercises and developing explosive strength, while a smaller kettlebell can be used for an aerobic workout.

Since I bought mine I've given up the gym membership; if you learn lots of kettlebell exercises you don't need a gym.
