    Opera 10

Anyone else upgraded to the new version which was released today?

So far, looks good - seems markedly quicker than the previous version (v9.63).

I've been using the RC for a couple of weeks at ClientOrg, but solely for the purpose of doing some comparisons of the effect of garbage collection on the consistency of timings from the window.setInterval method

FWIW, Opera 10 RC performs considerably better than Firefox in this respect, though with some intriguing variations in consistency depending on the duration of the interval, 31ms being the most stable in the 20 - 50ms range; but both are blown away by Chrome, which is damn close to perfect. I haven't tested IE (because I'm using SVG to plot the results, and IE is the only major browser that doesn't support it) or Safari (because I haven't got around to downloading it for Windows, which I'm sadly forced to use at ClientOrg).

So, as far as precisely one page with no content besides JavaScript loading from localhost is concerned, I'd give Opera 10 the thumbs up, though I'm still using Chrome as my default browser on Windows

I've been using it for a couple of days now. I haven't explored any of the new bits but it certainly seems stable.

On the other hand Firefox has started crashing shortly after start up, dunno why.
