    Wedding Present ideas

A relative is getting married in Doncaster on Wednesday.

They are very rich, so just buying something expensive will not impress.

    So, I'm wanting ideas.

Also I have to do a speech, yeah, about what.

Commission a symphony and have it recorded by a live orchestra.

Are you in any way "arty" if you can make a gift that is personal to them, it will beat a shop brought any time - more so if they buy any shop brought thing as they desire it

Whats the relationship? Are you the best man?

Novel wedding gifts I've seen have included a large Danish Throwing Axe and a Chainsaw...

I bought recently a Bodum coffee maker, some cappucino cups and some specially ground beans. They really liked them as most people drink coffee. No need to spend the earth but also nice to get something useful.

The cups were similar to these but had plates and were a set of four.

PS if it has to be more expensive a Red Letter day such as a hot air balloon ride is also nice!

It's got to be a Dualit toaster, they last for ages (often longer than a marriage) and prove the addage that the poor man pays twice.
