I don't bother writing anything about references on my CV. I don't think there are many contractors out there who wouldn't provide references on request so I don't bother to mention it.

As no one automatically includes details of their references on their CV, do you include a line similar to the below or not bother at all?

Don't bother at all. Had enough trouble squeezing my cv down to 3 pages as it was. I figure if people want references they'll ask for them. And I always make it clear to agencies that references will only be given following an interview and a formal offer of a contract.
