    CV: References

As no one automatically includes details of their references on their CV, do you include a line similar to the below or not bother at all?

    REFERENCES

    Available on request

References are always available on request?

I don't bother writing anything about references on my CV. I don't think there are many contractors out there who wouldn't provide references on request so I don't bother to mention it.

      That's what I do.

Which is now what I am thinking - also saves space.

I don't mention references. I don't have any, and I wouldn't make them available on request even if I did.

Don't bother at all. Had enough trouble squeezing my cv down to 3 pages as it was. I figure if people want references they'll ask for them. And I always make it clear to agencies that references will only be given following an interview and a formal offer of a contract.

Rarely get requested for them - if an agent / client wants them, all they have to do is ask.

Save space on the CV by not including any mention of references
