Hi all,
New to the forums and about to get my first contracting job with a bit of luck.
Was chatting to a potential client today and he said that because of headcount restrictions they would take me on as a consultant rather than a contractor.
Trouble is I don't know what the difference is - can anyone enlighten me?
I was thinking about going the umbrella route rather than setting up a company - does consultant vs contractor have any bearing on that decision?
Thanks.
