Aparently, those going on trial in Luton for demonstrations last year, refused to stand when the Judge entered the court room. It would have meant that they put the judge higher than their god.........!!

Whatever happened to not differentiating yourself from your host society?! I lived in Switzerland and had to learn the language to integrate - seems that even that is too radical in this country!!

At the risk of drifting back towards the subject - I noticed a subtle but disgusting use of words by Anjem Choudary on R5 this morning. He was saying he wasn't doing or proposing anything illegal. He said "it is not against your laws" after he pointed out he was born in the UK. Note "your" - not "our".
