Lord Ashcroft - what a patriot

So proud to be British he isn't even domiciled here.

Yep and he certainly had William Hague fooled too.

Aye. I know the feeling - to be displaced from your homeland is not nice. To remain and face persecution by an evil government lead by a violent and insane dictator, or to flea, leaving the country that you born and raised in, to seek safety abroad.

Ones duty in these difficult times is to help fund the resistance at home anyway one can in the hope of overthrowing the oppressive government.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

so ******* what? If the guy wants to be clever to save his cash then bloody good luck to him. Frankly I don't know what the bloody fuss is about.

Ever since the expenses scandal it's got stupid. Could you imagine a review of the expenses put through my members of this board!!! There'd be more than enough dodgy ones!

I can sleep safe and night knowing the ducks are safe from the foxes. Allows me to be more productive.

Although the image of Mandy as a flea did spring to mind.

Anyway, whilst we're talking about patriots, how about the Privy Cllr Lord Paul, non-domiciled in the UK for tax purposes.

And whilst we're talking about Lord Paul, it would be remiss of us not to mention Laksmi Mittal - £4M in contributions to the Labour party from a foreign steel magnate.

Will that £4M go to those 1600 steelworkers laid off from Corus the other day or "glossy leaflets" as that oaf John Prescott was banging on about a couple of days ago.

Labour supporters' blind vilification of Ashcroft really does show them all up to be champagne socialists.

And who has a genuine business in the UK, through which he donates to the Labour party. And who has always been open and honest about his tax affairs.

What is the difference between a "genuine business" and a business?
