    Ibiza

Just spent a couple of days in Ibiza, hired a car and explored some of the little coves on the north east of the island. Had a fantastic time, can't believe I've left it this late & will definitely go back. Maybe won't stay in San Antonio next time - makes Benidorm look like San tropez
Was a bit disappointed by the sunset strip though - almost exclusively Brits. Was expecting something a bit more cosmopolitan - 20 years too late perhaps....

Next time, try the locals bar on the other side of the bay. Used to be called something like Kumaharas. That's probably spelled badly wrong. More chilled, and fewer brits.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

San Antonio, IIRC, is minging. The old town is a lot nicer.

From what I remember the best bits are to be found off the beaten track, there are plenty of quieter, less crowded beaches and some great restaurants inland as well.

I might go back now I'm middle aged and over the whole music & drugs thing. I reckon it would be a good place to charter a yacht.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Wasn't last time I went, but the owners had changed. It's nice. Little market round the back too. Lots of beautiful people wearing all white, you know the type.

Didn't get that far - was only there 2 nights. Will check it out next time though
