What's meant by "best"? Volume or odour?
Beans for me on the first, and anything sulphurous on the latter I expect, cabbages, etc. Not really studied the latter.
Beans work very fast. What's interesting, if the gases are of bacterial origin, is how quickly the little guys get to work. They must be primed and ready to go even though they have presumably been semi starved in between meals of beans. Or maybe they can cope with other foods and digest them in other ways.Comment
