And what exactly should "Taxpayer funded TV corp" be doing?
It should be doing things that commercial TV would not - education for example, it should not be the job of the BBC to chase ratings and pay mega-salaries in order to get max market share.
Specifically when it comes to this "Dragons Den" program I I find that it is an insult to British enterpreneures.

There are only so many hours they can fill with films about tractor production and rallies in support of the glorious leader.

You could argue that it is education, perhaps it can be seen as educating a new generation regarding business and finance, personally I think that is a good thing, we need growth from businesses to get us out of the mess we are in.
