quite, I've seen it running on SuperDomes or Enterprise M9000's at different assignments and now at the latest assignment Power 7's and these Power 7's are awesome

Power7 - Yep, the hardware is brill.

PowerVM is better with Active Memory Expansion
Turbocore options for reduced license costs
Energyscale for the tree huggers too.

Fan control with altitude input through Active Energy Manager.

Increase in the number of max partitions too ... not that you would ever need more than 1024

yep

on top of that i was told that at our dc they have heat cameras checking the temperatures everywhere and all spare parts are kept at the same temperature as the running machines

isn't it amazing what you can do if you have £$£
