    Battered - Choice of spirit

I need a drink. Cupboard is bare.

Choice of spirit please to get battered on.

I'm going to be heading to the offy.

    Any Whisky recommendations?

Vodka. Sure fire way of getting off your face in no time.

I thought you were on the wagon though?

Jura's a nice single malt, or Talisker 10 yr old. Personally I'd choose an XO Armagnac.

Never seen the point of Vodka - I'd much rather have a tipple that at least tastes like something, such as decent brandy or whisky, or even rum (although I rarely drink rum these days, as I heard it contains a lot of sugar).

Not if you just want to get smashed quick. Vodka works a treat

Rats, you beat me to it.

Highland Park is another excellent single malt.

However... that Pinot Noir I had at lunchtime is easily the best one I've had... and I forgot to take down the ruddy name.
