    Washing machine on the blink

Months out of warranty. Guaranteed fix by the manufacturer for £140, hmm.

Did a wee bit of investigation on the 'net for possible causes based on symptoms.

Twenty minutes effort with a £10 part and job done.

Sounds like you haven't been servicing her^W it frequently enough.

Indesit are the cheapest junk on the market. Serves you right. If you aren't buying Miele, Bosch or other German quality, what do you expect?

My first thought n all. We've put Bosch dishwasher and washer/dryer in our place both came with a 10 year guarantee!

Doesn't the sale of goods act cover you for 6 years - shame no washers ever last that long. We had the perfect storm in our kitchen a while ago when the dishwashe, tumble drier and the washer all packed in within about 2 weeks of each other.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                    I preferred version 1!
