Has anyone used Sole Trader Service offered by ICS to contractors? I have not seen 'Sole Trader' option for contractor before.

That's because recruitment agencies can't work with sole traders

Looks to me like a sort of umbrella who'll invoice the agency and then pay you gross. And then you can do as you please. There was a thread about another company doing the same recently (Futurelink, I think the company was.)

ICS have advertised there fee as "from £11.50" per week. That turns out to be the fee after tax relief if you are a 50% taxpayer. Although factually correct, it's highly disingenuous and really quite irritating.
