They've started now, but it seems to me it's all very well questioning Diamond, the BoE and so on, but how about questioning the individuals who in Diamond's words were party to 'very bad behaviour by a group of people'?

Perhaps they can give some insight into why they gave false information; did they do it because they thought they could get away with it? Did they do it because they thought it would be accepted by senior management? Did they do it because they were pressured by senior management to do so? Was there perhaps a culture in which it was so important to hit 'targets' that bending or breaking the law was the only way they could achieve that?
