    My local force is amongst the slow ones listed - can confirm I've had to hold at times (crazy ex-wife means we have to bother them every now and then unfortunately). But 101 isn't for crimes where anyone would be sent out the same day anyway, so it's not that much of a story really. Would be more interested in actual emergency response times.
