    I have a British workman in ....

... installing new oak floors. It's day 2. Yesterday he left at 3 pm. Today he's had a 40 minute break between 11 and 11.40 but is readying himself for lunch. Of course he's had his tea and fag breaks too (seems to be a chain smoker). This is from a respected local flooring firm.
Sadly my Poles don't do floors.

And that in a nutshell is what's wrong with the country.
    Hard Brexit now!

Whereas you are apparently getting paid ~£100 hour and are spending your time posting on CUK. How are you any better than your workman?

      but is the quality better?

I'd much rather have a good job than a fast but cheap one.

sasguru's £100/hr home gig and the workman are one and the same.

+1, especially when it comes to laying my wood.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

So you confirm your £100 an hour contract is imaginary. TFT
