Self Assessment Online and Rental Income

    Hi,

I'm after some advice, for the first time ever I need to include rental income on my self assessment. I usually submit my SA on line myself but thats because up until now its been the sames boxes every year just different £.

In terms of including rental property income, expenses and mortgage interest, is this pretty straight forward to do with the online SA ? It is litterally 3 boxes like rent, interest and expenses or would you recommend an accountant do it ?

    thanks
I like big butts and I cannot lie.

It is fairly straightforward if you are used to submitting your self-assessment online.

Having said that, using an accountant makes your life easier and you might benefit from their advice in terms of what can be claimed etc.
