It's one thread down. I'm not going to read it for you.

(See, now I have a dilemma, because once I've replied to this, it will be two threads down.)

It's not explicit enough. It's like a Suity requirements document, I have a rough idea we're going out for a meal, it could be Indian, it could be Chinese or Pizza & a rough indication of the time, Mon/Tue/Wednesday, plus no time. I blame the PM.

Cool. Gonna be a bugger if the tube strikes on, but will prob head up anyway if others are still going to make it. May have to reacquaint myself with the omnibus.

I have just discovered that the DLR is not on strike and I can get it from where I am to Bank, so looks like I'm sorted.

The first time I did this - several years ago - we met at the ship & shovel.
I had a copy of Computer Weekly and put it on the table as our prearranged sign :o
I also accosted various strangers and asked them if they worked in IT - but I'd had a couple by then

We have a "regular" spot at the Counting House - upstairs at the back on the left. Sometimes they even put a CUK sign up for us :) I wasn't sure if we'd still be welcome after the Christmas mess, but they seem to have got over it!

Looking muchos trickios for me :ohwell
I am working in Sunbury, need to drive back to Brentford base and then find a non-tube way there.....which means to Waterloo on SWT, some sort of large contraption called a bus(?) or two and so on....by the time I would get there, looks like around 8pm and I suspect the journey back would need to commence about 30mins later!!

Pogle

It's only about 1.5 miles from Waterloo, so walkable once you've got there. But does sound a PITA - we'll sort another one soon.

I should be in there about 5-5:30.

No problems getting into the Wharf this morning, and the DLR is running well to Bank from what I have heard.
