As it's an election budget, I expect bribes!
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

True but the electioneering for the election is well underway, so in the actualité it is still an election budget as they'll want the feel good factor to kick it in at least a year before the election

Feel good should kick in just BEFORE the election, so they'll reserve the best stuff for next.

Pay your tax up front on avoidance schemes and then claim it back?
HMRC given powers to take money directly from your accounts?

              15% stamp duty?!!!

HMRC given powers to take all your money directly from your accounts, and then if it feels like it, will let you have some of it back ?
