Accounts sign off - what's the income limit before I need an accountant?

    Hiya

    Hope someone can help.

Can you tell me what the Income limit is before I need an Accountant to sign off my accounts?

I currently do my own accounts and submit them myself.

I thought the limit was £100k or so?

You don't need an accountant to sign off accounts at all, although a mortgage company may request that they do so if you hope to rely on them to prove your income.

You only need accounts signed when they audited, but you're OK on that front until you get to around £6.5million!

Based on that post I would guess you should get an accountant pretty sharpish Interesting to know what else you thought and isn't right.....
