    Same agent different agency

Is there possibly a legal issue with an agent that got you a job before that's changed their agency last September and is putting you forward for a new role with a new company that you've not worked at before?

They may have had a restriction in their contract which prevents them from approaching someone they've worked with before, but generally that would expire after six months, if it was there at all.

I asked them and they said that there wasn't.
