      How is being a contractor contrary to what I said? I offer a set of skills that clients have a choice to pay for if they wish, or not hire me if they don't want to. I've never had a contract where I have been offered an extension so clearly my clients are happy to pay for my skills.

      You may rip people off by offering a substandard skills, but not all contractors are like that.
