Outrageous that the UK should try to tell the EU what to do. And not a great negotiating tactic either.
Well, given that the UK negotiated the WA on terms that were acceptable to the myriad of Brexit Secretarys we had, it's fair to say that demanding a renegotiation probably isn't likely to be a success.
Imagine it's your contract your talking about. Agent sends contract, you demand changes/additions/alterations and an agreement is reached. You then ask them (twice) to change the start date. Before that start date, you go back and tell them you want a completely new contract on totally different terms. They'd tell you to **** off, and they'd be correct to do so.
Being surprised that ANY organisation wants to get the best deal for their members/shareholders/whatever and refuses to give in to every demand of a recalcitrant entity is just retarded in the extreme.
