So ok - Brexit is going ahead apparently on 31st October (spooky).
Rather than saying you cannot do this, you cannot do that - can you give us a solution which would work.
Or are we saying that the UK is completely unable to leave the EU because of this issue?
Is that the point is that the final last gasp of 'nooooo brexit needs to stop' as this seems to be the main focus of a lot of the problems.
Do those on here genuinely think the whole Brexit idea should be shelved due to an issue on the border between the ROI and NI?Comment

And consider how unreasonable it would be if the EU, having negotiated the WA with the UK, then changed its mind. What would Brexiteers say to that?Comment

Do you realise that the Mersey Gateway doesn’t require customs paperwork.
All this extra paperwork you want to impose - is that not really that difficult to suddenly introduce to businesses that haven’t needed before?

Originally posted by original PM View Postobviously any trade will be subject to the standard trade rules and if this needs to be enforced then spot checks like on any other border crossing will be in force.

Stupid feckwits keep discussing the border in terms of single market / customs union which cover movements of goods. No one is taking into account free movement of people...Comment
