As to their specialisation, as said, I had no idea as I've not worked through them. I don't have the inside knowledge on what each of the world's 18m agencies specialise in.

I daresay His Northern Gobbiness had something to say about this but as he's on my Ignore list...
You called it an agency. I must have misunderstood what you were trying to say.
As for what they do, it's on the page you linked. My apologies for assuming you'd read it.

And yes he did. You don't need to capitalise 'his' as he's not a deity, not even in the North.

You've never been to Yorkshire then?

        He's not unique. It's cultural.

But back on topic.. I don't think the issue is which boards to look at it. It's more around the way different countries handle contracting and their individual tax regimes.

There is a set of guides at the link below which go someway to explain the tax situation for each of the counties but also may help understanding how contracting works there.

Also the same on the CUK site here.

“As a result, the most tax efficient and convenient trading solution for UK contractors to adopt is to use a service provider with the right local knowledge and expertise to help them to become a local freelancer registered with the most suitable status based on their profession and personal circumstances.”
would indicate it's not as straight forward as looking at the usual job boards.

You may have to put in a hell of a lot of research in to any countries you like the look of and get in to their system rather than just browsing a contractor site. Obviously you are up against local language speaking professionals which will put you at a massive disadvantage.

The other option is just wait for a gig with a multi-national that includes travel. They do pop up from time to time but they are very few and far between. There was one I saw on Jobserve with regular travel to West Africa but surprisingly had a huge number of responses according to the agent.

                Pretty much what I see.

I did plenty of travel as a permie. A lot of companies see the travel as a bit of a perk as well so 'reward' the staff by sending them scum class, to work 100+ hour weeks, for no extra pay.
They tend not to ask contractors as they demand to be paid whilst travelling, and also want to choose their own flights and airlines.

Hence why the consultancies are the best bet for a contractor as they'll be billing the client so don't object to paying the extra money to the contractor.
The only time I've been sent to foreign lands as a contractor was Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Norfolk.

Please mind your language in the profession forums.
