    I don't think you'll be able to go direct. Agencies and clients contracts normally have a clause against the client employing you directly or via another agent within a specified time period. Normally 12 months I think.

      Exactly - the previous contract terms will be assumed by default.

      All you're doing is causing the agency a lot of needless paper work
