Yes although they've left that client now but this thread reminded me of the situation. His 'action' was to nuke the email from orbit

Can't be helped I guess. It's just so annoying how misleading their recruitment policies are, if I knew this I would have started looking for a new job half a year ago. Time to start sending out those CVs again.
