    That is some drill.

Russia is preparing for full scale nuclear war and the western media are too busy talking about Trump's silly affairs.
Russian media is full with publications about attacking Americans in Syria, generals speaking on tv how they will shoot down NATO planes if they get in their way.
Papers publicise articles like this: https://www.gazeta.ru/comments/2016/...10239857.shtml (use google tranlsate if you can't read Russian)
Nuclear weapons are being stationed in the Kaliningrad enclave, that can reach Berlin and they also speak about stationing them in the eastern Mediterranean.
Putin promises to build nuclear shelters for all in MOscow

Is he building them for every other city too?

I'm not aware of any shelter that would withstand a direct strike, never mind multiple strikes.

Nothing like tales of impending doom to keep Contractors on edge - although I must say I did like
Deutschland 83 and looking forward to the sequel.
I'm also looking forward to replaying all those hit's from the 1980's.

As for bunkers - well I think were more than a match for Putin.

So long as they don't take a direct hit of course.

The Kent bunker was built by the MOD as a command and control centre. The construction and security standards are what you might expect of such a purpose built fortress. Patrolled and monitored
24 by 7 by 365 by our specialist on-site security teams, located 30 metres beneath a perimeter fenced
site with reinforced concrete walls, steel doors weighing several tons and EMP and tempest shielding.

The Newbury bunker was built for the US Forces on the Greenham Common Air Base as a command
and control centre protecting people and technology from nuclear attack. The construction and security standards are what you might expect of such a purpose built fortress. It has concrete reinforced walls,
            steel doors and tempest shielding.
Layered on top of this physical inaccessibility is a 24-hour watch, CCTV and a series of sophisticated
            access controls.

It's all very well. But what reason has Russia got to attack Europe? Zip. Europe is no threat to Russia, many Russians like Europe, they'd never support such an attack. Syria, the US, Russia, that's another matter and a matter best sorted out between themselves.

Even so, Russia's defence infrastructure is cvomparitatively weak since days gone by.

2016-11-07 Huge Nato land army to meet Russian aggression

Hundreds of thousands of Nato troops will be put on a higher state of alert amid growing tensions with Russia, the head of the alliance has indicated.

Nato commanders want to prepare a substantial land force capable of deterring Russian aggression.

Jens Stoltenberg, the alliance’s secretary-general, did not give precise figures, but Sir Adam Thomson, Britain’s outgoing permanent representative to Nato, said he thought that the goal was to speed up the response time of up to 300,000 military personnel to about two months.
