Her remarks are disgraceful. Stripping her of citizenship is worrying. There is no inherent contradiction in holding both views.

The removal of her citizenship causes me concern, not because I give a toss about her, but because of the wider implications.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Were any remarks a crime? If so, she should be charged accordingly. If they were simply offensive and you didn’t like them, but they are not a chargeable crime, then you need to internalise that and understand whether or not remarks that simply “offend” is a slippery slope.

You’ve only selectively quoted the Home Office guidance, by the way.
Would you describe her actions within IS as "Aiding and abetting a proscribed terrorist organisation"?

We don't want you back in the UK anyway, this just gives us precedent.

          What, exactly, were her actions?

Has she been interviewed by UK security services? Possibly, but the details of any interviews are not public knowledge if she has.

If it is determined in the proper way that she has aided and abetted, that would be a decision for a court, not a newspaper.

Assuming she is not a dual national, doesn’t it concern you that a Home Secretary can unilaterally remove British citizenship from someone?

She left the UK to join IS. She "Married" a member of IS and as far as we know he didn't get "rapey" so there was "support" there, enough to supply 3 kids.

No mate, British Citizenship is a privilege.

Let's face it, she will be coming back to the UK.

And he was of Dutch nationality by all accounts. Does that make her entitled to a Dutch citizenship by marriage?

                  Just asking...

Don't be daft, it means he can come over here, wouldn't want to deprive a family unit of its influential father figure, would we?*

*The above, to remove all element of doubt, was tongue in cheek.
To those that remain "hard of thinking", feel free to quote out of context.

                      I find this baffling.

I’m an Irish citizen, and have a right to live and work in the UK under the CTA.

You seem to be advocating that your ability to live and work here is not a right, but a privilege that can be taken away at any time.

You’re advocating that I have more rights than you?

                      Truly baffling.

Take this a step further. Let’s say that the precedent is set that the Home Office minister can unilaterally remove British citizenship. Let’s then say that the next government is a hard left Corbyn socialist government. You’ve now given them the legal power to remove citizenship unilaterally?

You give away your rights too easily.
