Dare I ask what is wrong?

Its tough being a contractor. Trying to avoid getting personally involved and just thinking of the money.

On the other hand permie is far worse. You feel personally involved. The money seems poor. And you get the feeling you will be there for an eternity.

      Not on here.

Do you not think they are taking the piss? Seem like a disorganised shambles? Would treat me like a permie anyway?

To be honest, I agree with Alias. I guess they have you down as their number two.

That said, I agree Skype is the way to go for the next interview. Keep looking in the mean time and take the gig if they are successful in finding their heads deeply fossilized up the CTOs arse.

If they offer you a contract, get it reviewed properly etc. All you need is money and you are getting it.

The question however is, how desperate are you? Only you know the answer.

              1. Is the money OK?
              2. Have you anything else to do on Tuesday that can't be reorganised?
              3. Go back and tell them you can do it between 11.30 and 1.30 (or something like that, make it a time to suit you so you're not driving at rush hour, etc)
              4. Ask the agent if they gave any feedback/information that will help with this interview. (is it an agent you know well?)
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

                Disorganised shambles + suity = ?

I can see what's going to happen here if you get it. A month into the gig, you will get terminated. You long winded post will talk of the shambles and how you were telling everyone there what a shambles the place is, and trying to install IS09001 into everything etc etc etc.

If you think I can help feel free to PM/email me. But at the moment I have shed loads of personal issues so you might not get much sense from me. The only thing keeping me going is having a contract, even if I hate it, and thinking of the money.

Are they taking this piss? Only if they try to use interview to get information from you. Did you get that feeling 1st time?
                  Disorganised? Carry on invoicing
