Yep, they also have no problem saying that is exactly what their intentions are.

Again, cultural, as all Indians expect their country to be completely corrupt.
    That's how it works there

I wouldn't mind if they were doing the work as well as me. And while there are many Chinese and Indians who are willing to do what I do for a tenth of the money and are superbly competent, the likes of InfoSys, TCS, Cognizant, IBM etc. seem to be unable to hire them!

I suspect anyone any good avoids working for the usual suspects but there are good ones out there and its arrogant to assume only you are good enough.

I suspect the goods ones work in America where they can earn more, we just get the ones who will put up with low pay, bad weather, queuing and traffic chaos
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

If you believe HMRC there is a lot of tax evasion over here.

I remember the Indian government changing tax law retrospectively to catch Vodafone and DC protested. The irony...

I seriously hope the Indian dudes do take a look at threads like this, and realise what kind of country this is, and what the locals are talking about them - including all the generalisations going on here about ALL Indians evading tax, their corrupt cultureal thinking, and committing all sorts of crime, etc. and think for themselves for one moment as to whether they really want to come over here to Britain, and work and live amongst us? No offense intended, but I would stay away if I was in such a position thinking about it.

Given these general perceptions about Indians on the whole, there is no respect left out.
Do you guys (Indians) really really want to immigrate here for work and living?

Tell your offshore nuts (companies) that you don't want to come here. Possibly go to USA.
That will reduce the immigration to UK, thanks to your efforts, not this government's or British companies (for their lack of effort to reduce the immigration).

I think the only way to help reduce immigration is for the Indians to think about it and offer help.

To be honest you should see how they treat each other.
I have witnessed some of the worst bullying, snide behavior, in offshore companies, completely against their own.

There are some very talented guys, given the odds though, you have to be lucky to work with them.

If all this talk about tax evasion, etc. is true and not 'a mate down the pub told me' contractor bitterness talk, then surely you should be collecting hard evidence and and passing it onto the relevant authorities and interested parties, i.e. HMRC and IPSE. Until people start doing that and action is taken against these companies, then its just really hearsay isn't it?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

My bit about Indian contractors and tax evasion is very true, as I said I spoke to them about it.
How it arose was simply because the guy was trying to get the PI certificate he didn't have, because one of his mates had it.

To be frank, I'm sure HMRC would be aware, I doubt they were the only ones doing it.
