Did you know that our pious Western democracies actively supported Soviet communism in its early era, covered up all its atrocities and flooded the academic scene with gushing praise of Lenin and Trotsky, and that things went sour only after Stalin went after a certain group?

Did you know that FDR used to refer to Stalin as 'Uncle Joe'?

I am just impressed that you managed to penetrate through layers of government misinformation and get to the real truth behind 9/11.

If you're looking for a hypothetical "WHY" I'd suggest looking into historical false flag attacks - it seems that's what your alluding to.

I am very bored with this thread and not going to post on it any more. There's no point rebutting conspiracy theorists.

As soon as you take out one of their "facts" they simply move to another, if you take out too many they simply brand you as part of the conspiracy or accuse you of being naive, a government stooge or one of the "Sheeple".

I really understand the mindset. It is very strange.

As to those on this thread. They probably really do believe the stuff they've posted. My guess is that it is a mental defensive mechanism used to try and make sense of the random, dangerous world that we live in. They see patterns where none exist and grasp any minor inconsistency or hard to explain occurrence as "proof" of something large and sinister.


But MSBob raises a great point. It would be interesting for someone ( not me, I am not that interested ) to go back through the X-Files archives and see how many of the current crop of conspiracy theories have come straight from the X-Files.

A fair few I would guess.
