You join a golf club to get access to the Golf Course not to put up with the other members looking down their nose at you.
The EU didn't invest in a Golf course. We don't have to rent it. If the "Club" ceases to exist there will be nothing of value left.
We formed a cartel where we fixed prices & excluded other traders.
We want to leave it so the Cartel say "we will make you suffer just in case someone else wants to leave the Cartel" its all a bit sad.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

Poor ickle snowflake.
You can't blame the club. Part of choosing to leave it is about accepting responsibility for your actions and the repercussions of those actions.
I said months I ago I didn't think the EU would do that, hurt themselves just to hurt the UK more, because it's childish. At the moment I don't think they are punishing us but to say such a thing is not plausible is foolish. You can end a relationship respectfully or acrimoniously... it's in neither spouse's best interest to take the latter route in a divorce but it frequently happens.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

It's common that some parties of some countries blame EU for their fails instead of doing their own reforms to solve their problems.Comment
