Have 'broken' my dry week tonight. Parkrun tomorrow, then putting piles of crap back into the spare room after decorating. Apparently 15 year old "how to" photoshop CDs (yes, not even DVDs) cannot be thrown out.

ms#4 off to visit the factories in China tomorrow night, so will be doing airport run.

Sunday might be out on the velocipede, depending on the elements.

I insisted on keeping a restore CD rom disc for a 10 year old broken Toshiba laptop.

One, you can stick in a drawer. Four or five years worth, with accompanying monthly photography magazines, is pushing it.

rip CD to nas (I love D-link sharecenter cheap £50 + drives 2TB £60 each & performant with loads of apps) . Use virtual cd to mount. Back up to a spare USB HDD, put CD in loft.

my current activity is moving junk to loft, we have a garage full in the loft now.

relax in clear space with vino so clearing the cellar as well.

    I have ~500GB of music, ~1.5 TB of video + a few 100GB of photos / sw.

don't I used to work with a guy 20 years ago that had ~ 10GB on DVDs which was impressive at the time.

Nope sadly scrubs, house & star trek mainly. I have thousands of CDs / DVDs in the loft. I can now get across the second lounge though.

Car successfully collected from the parentals. Despite arranging and paying for exhaust fitting and bodywork repairs, checking the oil and water levels, and giving it a wash and wax, I was disappointed that my Dad didn't bother checking the tyre pressures. Shocking.

Some bulbs planted. Cuttings collected from my Mum who only had 24 hours notice to go through her various works in progress to select stuff I'm less likely to kill.

    Parents, eh. Who'd be one?
