Remember that an asylum seeker is slightly different to a migrant. EU countries are sending migrants back to their countries all the time, an asylum seeker has to be thoroughly checked first but they do send them back so this isn't really news. The UK quite often send asylum seekers back...“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

What positive thing would you like the EU to do that would mean you wouldn't just complain about it?
Maybe ban the sale of weapons to Saudi?
Maybe work towards stopping the fighting in places like Syria?
What can the EU do?

Chicken-Gate
Professor Tim Lang, who co-authored a briefing paper on Brexit and food, said the UK would have less power to stand up to the US after it leaves the Brussels bloc.
His comments come as a row broke out over whether chlorine washed chicken could be sold in the UK in order to secure a quick trade agreement with the US.
Speaking on PM on BBC Radio 4, Professor Lang said there was “a little whiff of panic” within the Government as it realised the “enormity of Brexit”.
He added leaving the EU would put Britain in a “weak position” and as a result ministers were trying to “pull a rabbit out of the hat” to do a trade deal with the US."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

In any case, Ireland and the UK are not the only members of the Common Travel Area. However, both the Irish and UK governments as well as EU representatives, have stated that they do not wish for a hard border in Ireland, taking into account the historical and social “sensitivities” that permeate the island.[18] In September 2016 the British Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, David Davis, stated that the UK government would not seek a return to a "hard border" between the UK and Republic of Ireland.[19]
Both governments will try to prioritize the protection of an open border between the Republic and Northern Ireland and the retention of the Common Travel AreaComment

The bottom line is (which many/few know) there is no hard border (checks) when you travel from Ireland to N.Ireland. This means, anyone can enter into Mainland as soon as they are within EU.Comment
